Vocal Cord Cancer

Vocal cord cancer is closely related to smoking history, but non-smokers can also get vocal cord cancer. In the pre-cancerous period, the vocal cords can be seen as a white or red plaque, while thickening and growth are seen in the cancerous vocal cords. Early diagnosis and surgical removal of cancer is extremely important. After the surgical operation, voice therapy is taken to increase the functionality of the voice.
